Important information for postal voters ahead of Leicestershire County Council election

Are you planning to vote by post in the Leicestershire County Council election?

The rules may have changed since you last voted by post. You can no longer post your vote into the letter box at the Council's offices.

You must either post your vote in a Royal Mail letter box in the pre-paid envelope provided or by handing it to an authorised officer at the Council's offices or a polling station on polling day.

When handing it to an officer, you will be provided with a form. You must complete the form, otherwise your postal vote will not be accepted.
