Residents invited to share views at Charnwood Design Code drop-in sessions

Charnwood Borough Council is inviting residents, businesses, and community members to attend upcoming drop-in sessions to have their say on the future design of buildings, streets, and public spaces across the borough.

The sessions are part of the Council's work on a new Design Code, which will set out clear and consistent expectations for new developments, helping to deliver high-quality, attractive, and sustainable places throughout Charnwood.

The drop-in events offer a chance to speak directly with Council officers, explore the interactive consultation website, and find out more about the Design Code and how it will be used to guide development.

The drop-in sessions will take place on Thursday, 17 April 2025:

• 10am to 1pm – Sock Gallery @ Loughborough Town Hall, 39-40 Market Place, Loughborough LE11 3EB
• 3pm to 5pm – Brookside Suite @ Syston Town Council, Community Centre, School Street, Syston, LE7 1HN
